Just Write

 When I talk with clients about their websites, one topic that seems to give them pause is blogging. Whether it is the fear of not having anything to say, inability to type or not seeing the point, it always is a conversation they seem to want to avoid.

I get it. Sometimes when I think about blogging for Danico, I (momentarily) have some of those same fears.

I'm not sure my clients believe me when I share that with them, but I assure you that it is true.

So how do I get past it? The answer may sound like an oversimplification, but here it is… I Just Write.

Seriously, I pull out pen and paper or open my favorite writing application and… just write. It doesn't matter, what I write, the point is to exercise my writing muscles. And yes, it is a muscle. The more you write, the less fearful it will be. Everything you write doesn't have to be published, hopefully, some of it will though. The important part is to WRITE.

Not everyone is a gifted best selling author, but you don't have to be to write for your blog.

Your passion for your business, products, and services is all you need.

I know this because as we talk about them, so many content ideas come through. Those ideas are the notes scribbled during our talk and put into the content calendar/strategy/plan afterward. These all come from YOU, they are in there, our conversation just brings them out.

Share your stories, your challenges, your triumphs, things that inspire you, and most of all your ideas.

And remember to … Just Write!
